Geisha are traditional, female Japanese entertainers whose skills include performing various Japanese arts such as classical music and dance.

Not many people know much about the mysterious beauty of Japanese. But in recent trend, the movie Memoir of a Geisha really allow people to know more about the culture and other beautiful unknowns.

Sometimes people do not have interest in things becuase they dont know much about the topic, but if sufficient information is given or share, we all can understand and learn from each other.

Traditionally, they began their training at a very young age. Although some girls were sold to geisha houses as children, this was not common practice in reputable districts. Daughters of geisha were often brought up as geisha themselves, usually as the successor or daughter-role to the okiya.
