Fragrant Tattoo: Smelling these will not be easy
Hibiscus
Scientific name:Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
A rose is a perennial flower shrub or vine of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae, that contains over 100 species and comes in a variety of colors. The species form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. It is a common error to refer to roses having thorns. But thorns are modified leaves, whereas these sharp protrusions on a rose are modified epidermal tissues (prickles). Most are native to Asia, with smaller numbers of species native to Europe, North America, and northwest Africa. Natives, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and fragrance.
The leaves are alternate and pinnately compound, with sharply toothed oval-shaped leaflets. The plant’s fleshy edible fruit is called a rose hip. Rose plants range in size from tiny, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach 20 meters in height. Species from different parts of the world easily hybridize, which has given rise to the many types of garden roses.
Although a rose is a flower, men also can have this as a tattoo, not only women. Rose is the supreme design of flowers in the world of tattoo. It represents both LOVE and RESPECT.
THE ORCHID
Orchidaceae (or Orchid family) is the largest family of the flowering plants (Angiospermae). Its name is derived from the genus Orchis.
The Royal Botanical Gardens of Kew list 880 genera and nearly 22,000 accepted species, but the exact number is unknown (perhaps as many as 25,000) because of taxonomic disputes. The number of orchid species equals about four times the number of mammal species, or more than twice the number of bird species. It also encompasses about 6–11% of all seed plants. About 800 new orchid species are added each year. The largest genera are Bulbophyllum (2,000 species), Epidendrum (1,500 species), Dendrobium (1,400 species) and Pleurothallis (1,000 species). The family also includes the Vanilla (the genus of the vanilla plant), Orchis (type genus) and many commonly cultivated plants like some Phalaenopsis or Cattleya.
Moreover, since the introduction of tropical species in the 19th century, horticulturists have more than 100,000 hybrids and cultivars.
Orchids is the most beautiful flower the comes in groups unlike roses that blooms one per stem or so it seems, orchids blooms around 6 to 8 sometimes 10 per stem. This flower when inked in your body will turn out just fine. The lovely colors of pink and violet and sometimes white will match a fair to white skin.
THE LILY
The genus Lilium are herbaceous flowering plants normally growing from bulbs. They comprise a genus of about 110 species in the lily family, Liliaceae. They are important as large showy flowering garden plants. They are important culturally and in literature in much of the world.
Some species are sometimes grown or harvested for the edible bulbs.
The species in this genus are the true lilies. Many other plants exist with “lily” in the common English name, some of which are quite unrelated to the true lilies.
The lily is one of the beast flower i have ever seen. Have you ever seen a person with a tattoo of a LILY flower? I have seen many. And all of them looks great on their tattoo. This Flower has different look or appearance which suits them or make them fit in the world of tattoo.
THE SUNFLOWER
The sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an annual plant in the family Asteraceae and native to the Americas, with a large flowering head (inflorescence). The stem can grow as high as 3 meters (9 3/4 ft), and the flower head can reach 30 cm (11.8 in) in diameter with the “large” seeds. The term “sunflower” is also used to refer to all plants of the genus Helianthus, many of which are perennial plants.
The sunflower symbolizes socialism or social democracy. But in the world of tattoo it is just a pretty design lying peacefully in your or even in my skin.
WHERE???
You can have your artist decide or even you can decide where to place a design like this in your body. You can have it on your chest, stomach, arm, upper back and even in lower back.
COLOR
The color of your tattoo depends on you and sometimes depends on the true color of the flower itself. Most flower possess more than 1 color or they have different colors per bud or flower. Colors of this in tattoo must be light for they all symbolizes beauty.
